Romans 1:16,17 literally sparked the Reformation as Martin Luther encountered the true Gospel through them. The wonderful truth that the good news of Jesus was that the righteousness of God was a gift received by faith rather than earned through personal spread throughout the world and laid the groundwork for type of church life we can now enjoy. It is these very verses that Chris looks at in this second sermon in the Romans series.
