Philippians
Part One

In this series we look at the book of Phillippians.

Writing from prison and having endured many trials and challenges, Paul writes this letter of encouragement to the church in Philippi, urging them to ‘rejoice always’. Pauls joy in Christ was not tempered by his circumstances, rather he was so undone by the grace of God upon His life that regardless of ‘flogging, ship wreck and imprisonment’ he could rejoice. This is a timely letter for us as we watch the securities of man weathered by the storms of financial instability, it is such a joy to know our house is built upon a rock- namely the work and person of Jesus Christ.

This series in Philippians will bless you, as time and again the truth of Christ’s accomplishments are unpacked and applied to our lives.
