If we can overlook the sham that was the weather we had to endure throughout August, then we’ll have to agree it’s been a month of many excellent things! Not least the great crowds present on Sunday mornings, consisting of many visitors, who like those of us present were able to enjoy great worship times and some fantastic preaching.
The guys handling Jonah did a superb job, some making debut appearances and serving us all so well. The youth had a very memorable time at Newday and I’m sure a blog post will presently appear detailing some of the highlights from the conference. But alas, September is upon us! Please keep a beady eye out for new people, in particular students as they arrive over the coming weeks. It is vision Sunday on the 12th September – DON’T MISS IT!!!
I also want to mention two new additions to the web site: Alpha – nccalpha.org. This is a site dedicated to the Alpha course and includes a sign-up option, Alpha stories, dates etc. Please check it out!
NCC Stories – We want to feature a number of people from the church and have recorded 3 minute testimonies with various people. Adam’s story is our first. This is a way for you and people looking in on us to get to know various members of the church. We will aim to upload a new story each month.
