Oasis: Parent & Toddler Group

What is Oasis:

Oasis is New Community Church’s Parent & Toddler Group.

There’s lots for the children to do whether they are babies, crawlers or toddlers. Children can enjoy the craft & messy play area, soft play, slides, ride-on area, baby area, construction toys, vehicles, dressing up, book area, and many more. The morning ends with birthday time and a sing song as well. 

You can enjoy spending time in the coffee & chat area. Refreshments are also provided for the children.

We want Oasis to be a place where you can come to meet new people, see old friends, and for it be a safe and stimulating place for children to play. 

When is Oasis?

Wednesday 10:00 - 11.30am, term time only.

Spring Term:

Wednesday 12th January - Wednesday 6th April (half-term:  Wednesday 23rd February) 

Summer Term starts:  Wednesday 4th May

Who can come to Oasis?

Oasis is a Parent & Toddler Group for 0-4's.  Childminders can only be added if they also bring their own child/ren. Mums, Dads and Grandparents are welcome.  There is no waiting list anymore however due to the popularity of this group the numbers  are capped and once this number is reached the doors are closed and no more children will be admitted.

How much does it cost?

Free entry.

We also un Baby Cafe. Baby Cafe is run on Thursday mornings, during term time, from 10 to 12, this is run for 1st time mums and there cannot be any other toddlers brought to this morning.

  My son really enjoys all the activities especially the larger toys like the slide and cars. It is nice to have so much room for the older toddlers to run around and also quieter alternatives to make things and play. The volunteers are very helpful and friendly. It is an excellent toddler group and it is free!! '
