Sundays/Venue...

We have two services on Sundays at 9:30 & 11:30am held at:
New Community Church Centre
24 Station Road
Sidcup, DA15 7DU

Our meetings are vibrant and informal and we expect to experience the presence of God.

We want our worship of God to be joyful, creative and expressive.

We believe in passionate gospel-centred preaching of the Bible showing its relevance to life.

We provide a safe and stimulating environment for babies and toddlers, children and young people.

We want visitors to feel welcome and comfortable

Life Groups...

Foundational to the life of New Community are our small groups which we call 'Life Groups'.

These are located in Sidcup and the surrounding areas of Mottingham, Eltham, New Eltham and Chislehurst and consist of 10 to 15 people.

Life groups gather each week to encourage and support one another in their spiritual journey as well as their everyday lives. Life groups are a place to 'do life together': living, learning, eating, playing, and resting together. They also provide a fantastic opportunity to reach out to those who don’t know Jesus.

The Alpha Course...

The Alpha course is a fantastic environment in which to ask any questions you may have about the meaning of life or about Christianity.

Over two million people have attended the course in the UK and over ten million worldwide. Each Alpha evening is set over an informal meal and includes a brief talk on areas of Christianity, followed by time for discussion and questions.

If you are interested or want more information please click to contact us, or call the church office on 0208 300 0333.

Kids Groups...

Oasis is New Community Church’s Parent & Toddler Group.

There’s lots for the children to do whether they are babies, crawlers or toddlers. Children can enjoy the craft & messy play area, soft play, slides, ride-on area, baby area, construction toys, vehicles, dressing up, book area, and many more. The morning ends with birthday time and a sing song as well.

You can enjoy spending time in the coffee & chat area. Refreshments are also provided for the children.

We want Oasis to be a place where you can come to meet new people, see old friends, and for it be a safe and stimulating place for children to play.

“Mighty Meteors” is for those in year 3 – year 6. The Meteors meet with Shooting Stars (as above.)

Youth...

Root61 is the name for our youth work and is a whole different world exclusively for 11-18s.

Root61 is all about reaching, growing and serving. We want to Reach our Mates, Grow in Christ and Serve our Community. We have a passion for the Glory of God, a passion for adventure and a passion for life. We want all of our young people to be captivated by the awesome adventure that is following Jesus.

Because of the large number of young people that belong to Root61 we have a whole load of stuff going on, from midweek Life Groups, to Friday nights to weekends away and a whole lot of other stuff in between.

So if you are between 11-18 then we would love to hear from you and see you at one of our events. If you are a parent of a teenager and would like some more information about who we are and what we do we would also love to hear from you!

Contact us at the Church office or check out our website.

NCC Life...

There's more to church than a gathering on Sundays. Whatever your situation, age, or interests we know there is something here for you.

The Church building is in constant use during the week for a variety of regular activities.

We meet for a week of prayer at the beginning of each term bringing our requests to God, knowing that he hears us. We serve our community through our Debt Advice Service, Oasis (our toddler group), our Thursday Coffee morning (Café Chat), as well as making the building available to outside groups where possible. There are also exercise classes for various ages.

We have a great youth ministry and a dynamic students and 20s group, which meet during the week. For older retired people there is a group that meets on Friday mornings.

For more information on joining the NCC football team click here.

So whatever your interest and stage of life there are people to meet and friends to make. If you would like more information about any of these regular activities, please click the ask button in the top right corner to contact us.
